We have a new opportunity for an Extended Range Advisor to join our GSBS EMEA Customer Services Team
About the role
The GSBS EMEA Extended Range Advisor is to support the extended range initiative through the processing of customer orders and the sourcing of extended range items, whilst maintaining or exceeding agreed customer service levels and sale targets. Liaise daily with vendors and adopt every article for UK, Scandinavia, France, and Ireland.
This role is a full-time permanent position, offering Hybrid working where you can work from home, and 1 day in the Corby office every other week.
What we’re looking for
- Processing of extended range orders, maintaining or exceeding our agreed service levels
- Raise Quotations for the sales team adding any discount requested and offering list and cost price to make sure a healthy discount is applied for our customer
- Responsible for the input of master data
- Converting customer leads to order
- Proactively expediting to ensure service level and customer expectations are fulfilled
- Resolving customer service enquiries and issues, relating to the extended range offer
- Returns and Replacements both in sap and with vendors
- To set up products within SAP, ensuring both cost and list price are correct
- To provide technical support for the Extended Range products by liaising with vendors requests from customers
- To resolve supply issues that potentially hinder order fulfilment
- Responsible for QN process investigating conformance issues with Extended Range articles
- Negotiating with suppliers regarding buy backs, or re-sale of previous customers or via RS shop
- Updating relevant dept with Discontinued extended products, ensuring they are removed from offer/web
What you will bring to this role
- Minimum 1 year in a customer focussed environment
- Previous experience in a customer service environment
- Previous experience of SAP / CRM
- Intermediate PC Skills, including Microsoft packages
- Able to identify ongoing issues and problem solve
- Ability to communicate and build relationships at all levels
- Influencing, challenging, and working with all elements of the supply chain
- Customer complaint handling
- Attention to detail/ Excellent Quality
- Prioritisation of orders and enquiries
