Impact

Facilitates the smooth operation of all Ponce De Leon Foundation (the Foundation) activities while enhancing the Bank’s reputation and the Foundation’s mission.


Responsibilities

Performs daily duties related to the Ponce De Leon Foundation. Duties and responsibilities include providing all operational support to ensure efficient operation of the Foundation. Assists the Executive Director of the Foundation in all functions related to the Foundation’s operations.


Essential Functions

1. Serves as Grant Coordinator for the Ponce De Leon Foundation.

2. Provides administrative support throughout all stages of the grant cycle.

3. Updates and maintains Foundation website.

4. Updates RFP and program documents for upcoming cycles.

5. Creates and updates training materials for grant reviewers.

6. Maintains the Foundation Contact List.

7. Maintains the Grantee Contact List.

8. Documents all inquiries and maintains accurate records of the Foundation grant-making process.

9. Assures that submitted documentation meets all Foundation’s proposal requirements.

10. Processes and tracks all grant checks to grantees.

11. Prepares summary of Grants with corresponding reports and charts with analytic breakdowns for the review of the Executive Director.

12. Prepares Sub-Committee and Board Meeting packages.

13. Presents the Grants Matrix to the Board Sub-Committee for review.

14. Prepares Minutes of the Foundation Board Meetings.

15. Prepares Annual Reports for review by Executive Director and for public release.

16. Drafts all press releases for review by Executive Director.

17. Identifies grant opportunities and other fundraising functions for the Foundation.

18. Assist in the restructure of the Foundation to accommodate Loan Fund opportunities or small business grants.

19. Supports the VP of Non Profit Services with processing sponsorships.

20. Sends Introductory email to HR connecting NPs to Bank Internship Programs.

21. Follows up with NP organizations partnering with Financial Mastery Program to ensure kick off.

22. Supports VP of Non Profit in referral tracking with outcomes.

23. Handles sensitive information in a confidential manner.

24. Ability to effectively communicate via phone and email ensuring that all support duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.

25. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals assigned.


Ancillary Functions

1. Communicates clearly among her/his team, assuring all team members have the appropriate tools and information to perform according to expectations.

2. Assures adherence to Bank policies and procedures and federal and state regulatory requirements.

3. Provides cross-functional support to other areas of the department and the Bank where service or assistance is needed.

4. Performs tasks which are supportive in nature to the essential functions of the job, but which may be altered or re-designed depending upon individual circumstances.

5. Works effectively with, internal stakeholders, and corporate teams.

6. Is highly communicative and responsive to all stakeholders while handling a large volume of projects.


Mandatory Training Curricula

Training is required of all Bank staff as related to regulatory mandated compliance topics and courses required for specific job functions. Career enhancement training courses are also available. Please refer to course catalog and management for details.

Physical Demands

The physical and related demands described in this section are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This job is mostly sedentary in nature, but may occasionally involve lifting files and other materials that weigh up to 20 lbs. Employees in this job must be able to work in an office environment during regular business hours where they come into regular and frequent contact with internal and external customers and other members of the public. Therefore, employees in this position are expected to have consistently positive interactions with the public.


Education/Training

A BA/BS is required with an emphasis in a business curriculum.


Experience

A minimum of 3 to 5 years of related experience normally required.


Salary Range

$63,100- $86,240
