Position: Fabrication
Shift: 1st shift 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM Monday-Friday
General Summary
Positions duties may include assembler, advanced machine operator, fabricator, or welder. The primary responsibility for these roles is to assemble products based on blueprints, operating forming machines in the production process, pressing, assembling control panels, brazing, and welding products to move on to assembly.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Contribute to safety and process improvements
- Performs other tasks as directed
- Handle and maintain flow of materials and products through the production flow
- Cross-train within the department
- Setup, calibration, and operation of machinery
- Inspect machining operations and finished product against specified tolerances
- Maintain accurate daily production records
- Maintain a clean and safe workplace in accordance with 5S, and Lean initiatives
- Work from production systems, blueprints, and verbal/written instructions
- Responsible for the quality of product based on set standards
- Help train new production employees as directed
- Perform operator machine specific maintenance tasks
- Perform loading and unloading of material and change tools as required
- Other duties as assigned
Physical Demands
- Must lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Standing for a minimum of 8 hours per day
- Continuous lifting, kneeling, pulling, bending, etc.
