We're looking for a well organised and efficient Facilities Manager to ensure our properties and facilities are compliant with relevant Health & Safety, Environmental, Fire & Security standards.

We'll consider applications from candidates who have not yet started their IWFM qualifications, and will support the training of those who would like to attain them in role.

The advertised salary is inclusive of the Outer-London Weighting Allowance of £2,828.

Interview date: 13 or 15 December 2022.


What it's like to work here:Reporting to the General Manager, you'll line manage our Facilities Coordinator and form an integral part of the leadership team across the Ham Portfolio.

Ham House portfolio consists of Ham House and Garden , Fenton House, 2 Willow Road , Red House and Carlyle's House , so the role will involve some travel amongst these properties.


What you'll be doing:For us facilities aren’t a back office function and you’ll be out and about inspecting our properties and keeping on top of our systems. An integral part of the property leadership team, you’ll report into the General Manager, and will be accountable for the running of all aspects of facilities management across our properties, both day-to-day maintenance and significant projects. You'll ensure we are safe and compliant.


  • Who we're looking forAn understanding of facilities management and maintenance requirements
  • Good experience of broad compliance and risk management, including knowledge of Health & Safety, CDM regulations, Emergency procedures and Fire & Security procedures.
  • Good people and customer service skills
  • Experience of managing budgets, finances, projects and contracts/contractors
  • Advanced IT skills
