Scope of Position: The facilities maintenance member performs a variety of work in the general maintenance and repair of facilities, equipment and performs related duties as assigned.

Time Commitment: Full-time Day Shift: 40 hours/week or Part-time Day Shift: 28 hours/week

Classification: Hourly, non-exempt

Typical Duties:

• Diagnose and repair lighting, plumbing, and basic electrical issues
• Maintain a safe and functioning work environment
• Communicate any and all repair needs to the Facilities Director
• Setup and takedown of event/ministry supplies (tables, chairs etc.)
• Janitorial duties
• Run errands on behalf of the Facility Services Team
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Facilities Director

Position Requirements:

• Minimum - Entry Level experience in Carpentry, Electrical/Lighting, Plumbing, Painting, Grounds Maintenance

• Computer experience
• Mechanically inclined
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. to perform typical duties
• Must have a valid Michigan Driver’s License with a good driving record
• Self-motivated, observant, good judgement and able to work independently
• Ability to provide directions and guidance to volunteers serving in Facilities Services

• Commits to personal evangelism opportunities within and outside of the church.
