Position: Factory Worker
Type: Temporary
Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00AM-3:30PM (30-minute unpaid lunch break) (Saturdays as needed)
Location: Kawaihae, Hawaii
The Factory Worker position is particularly important in assisting our company with the processing and packaging of macadamia nut products.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Understands, Good Manufacturing Practices and follows (SOP’s)
- Visually inspect the product streams for shell pieces and foreign materials.
- Package a variety of products according to specifications as directed by Supervisor
- Correctly tag/label all finished product boxes with date code and style number.
- Work safely and observe all safety rules and regulations.
- Fills and assembles boxes, seal boxes and stack boxes of finished product.
- Stack products on pallets as laborer and sends to Warehouse
- Cleaning duties as assigned
- Full Sanitation Duties of Factory with Training
- Any Other Duties as requested by Supervisor
Qualifications:
- Ability to communicate and take directions.
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Stand for long periods of time
- TB Clearance
Working conditions:
The working conditions of this job may be hot, dusty, and humid even with A/C. Tasks may be required in either Factory or Cannery dependent on Needs.
Physical requirements:
The job can be physically demanding. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift 25lbs. Repetitive tasks. Using cleaning chemicals. Must be able to lift 10-25lb boxes throughout the shift to stack on pallets.
