Faculty Instructor Adjunct
The University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing is seeking qualified applicants for paid volunteer adjunct faculty in the Department of Nurse Anesthesia.
Minimum Qualifications:
Instructor – A) Master’s degree in nursing or a related field; B) Evidence of or potential for excellence in clinical and/or classroom teaching; C) Demonstrated expertise in the indicated area of nursing; D) RN license in Pennsylvania.
Volunteer faculty to assist in workshops including:
- directly instructing students during the workshops,
- providing input into curriculum deployment,
- providing input into design changes,
- providing formative and summative feedback to students,
- providing technical support in some cases for the use of simulation technology and implementation and
- most importantly providing expert clinical feedback for procedures, techniques, and case management.
