OakLeaf Clinics - Pine Grove Family Medicine has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a family medicine physician in the beautiful city of Eau Claire.
OakLeaf Clinics is dedicated to providing our patients with compassion, trust, and a lifetime of individualized care. Our healthcare team consists of physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, dietitians, nurses, respiratory therapists, and medical assistants working in concert with laboratory/imaging services to offer individualized care to the Chippewa Valley.
Position description
Pine Grove is an independent physician-run clinic that has been part of the Eau Claire community for over 30 years. Our focus is to give our team the highest patient care and a good work-life balance. As part of our professional team, you will collaborate with our team of physicians, APPs, and other clinical staff to provide exceptional care to our patients. You will assess, diagnose, and evaluate treatment plans for patients and perform various additional patient care actions depending on the diagnosis. In addition to diagnosing and treating illness, you'll provide preventive care, including routine checkups, health-risk assessments, immunization and screening tests, and personalized counseling on maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Assess patient status relative to hospital admissions and discharges
- Prescribe medications and treatments
- Consult with colleagues on patient management and treatment plans
- Provide full spectrum family medicine skills and patient care in an outpatient clinic setting
Qualifications
- MD or DO or equivalent
- Wisconsin medical licensure is required before the start date
- Knowledge of medical procedures and guidelines concerning assessment, treatment, and recovery
- Problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) License
- Ability to work effectively independently or under minimal supervision
- Caring and compassionate
- Team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong healthcare background
