Tennessee Logistics (FedEx Ground contractor) is now hiring FULL TIME delivery drivers. We provide a positive and supportive work environment. WEEKENDS (Sat & Sun) are required initially (opportunity to migrate to weekdays is available with tenure). Dispatch is out of the FedEx Ground terminal in Mount Juliet, TN. Delivery routes are in Gallatin, TN, 37066. You will drive vehicles over 10,000 but less than 26,000 pounds (CDL is not required, but an F Endorsement is). Pay starts at $170 per day with increases within 6 months and one year, depending on performance.
Requirements for the delivery driver job
- Minimum of one full year of driving experience over the last three years
- 21 years of age or older
- Able to pass a background check including Motor Vehicle Record and criminal check (No felonies / violent misdemeanors or drug related misdemeanors in the last 10 years)
- Able to pass a Drug Test and DOT Medical / Physical Exam (Paid by Employer)
- Physically able to carry a package (75 lbs.) (150 lbs with a cart)
- F endorsement (can be obtained at DMV at minimal cost to applicant)
- Able to make approximately 120 stops a day, depending on route
Responsibilities for the delivery driver job
- Arrive at the Mt. Juliet terminal by 7:30a to organize truck and dispatch
- Load and unload packages from truck
- Deliver packages to destination, obtain signatures if required
- Scan and code packages
