2023 marks 60 years in business for the Ralph S. Alberts Company! We are a multifaceted custom molding manufacturer located in Montoursville, PA. We are proud to serve industries such as medical, recreation and amusement, military, industrial, material handling, telecommunications, packaging, automotive, aerospace, aviation, and R&D. All our products are uniquely designed, molded, and manufactured to meet the needs of our customers.

This is an opening in our Fiber Reinforced Plastics (FRP) department. Candidates will be required to stand for 8-10 hours a day with a tentative work schedule of 6:00AM – 2:30PM Monday – Friday. Overtime is required. Although we accept medical marijuana cards for most positions, candidates must be willing to submit to a pre-employment physical which may include drug testing and criminal history background check. This position requires a respirator fitting so candidates are expected to be clean shaven.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize Graco and MVP chopping guns and gel coat equipment
• Work with hand/power tools such as cordless tools, pneumatic grinders/ saws and hand-mix chemicals while utilizing personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Work to production standards and contribute continuous improvement.
• Utilize computer driven software to track products throughout production.
• Grind and sand products as well as other finishing touches

Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work overtime as needed which may include extra hours during the week and weekends.
• Willingness to learn the different procedures in the composites industry.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. This is a physical position and molds are large and bulky.
• Possess full dexterity with all hand powered tools, cordless tools, pneumatics tools, hazardous and non-hazardous solvents, adhesives, and other job-related supplies.
• Ability to read, understand and follow standard work instructions, engineering blueprints, tape measure, or other job specifications.
• Some computer work is required. Basic knowledge of computer operating systems is helpful.
• Autobody experience is also helpful, but not required.
