Sunshine Quality Solutions is looking for a field service technician/ diesel mechanic. This individual independently performs complex on-site diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work on customer agricultural and turf equipment. May require some direction or guidance from the service manager, service location manager, or shop foreman. What Youll Do

The field service technician/ diesel mechanic reviews and explains any maintenance, repair, or other service concerns directly with the customer and documents on work order. This individual follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments and maintains current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products through Service EDUCATE Training programs and customer clinics. The field service technician/ diesel mechanic completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments, accounts for all time and material used in performing assigned duties, and maintains condition of mobile service vehicle, inventory, tools, and equipment. In addition, this individual may promote and sell dealer service programs directly to customers.

Qualifications

Whats Required

• 4+ years of experience performing service repairs
• Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to perform complex repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment following technical manual procedures
• Expert knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in repair of agricultural and turf equipment
• Ability to use service advisor and basic computer functions
• Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes
• High School Diploma
• Valid Class D drivers license with Medical Card
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen

Whats Preferred

• Advanced or Master Service Technician certification
• CDL license
• Forklift certification
