Our Opportunity:
Chewy is hiring a Finance Manager to join our Operations and Customer Service Finance team. In this role you will own consolidation and reporting of total Operations and Customer Service Financials as well as support our Corporate teams. As the leader for financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting for the Operations and Customer Service organization, this role has significant impact and exposure with the most senior leaders at Chewy including the COO, CEO, and CFO. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills both written and verbal, successful and relevant experience with Executive level engagement, financial planning processes, financial systems and reporting, and organizational change management. This role must balance many deliverables simultaneously, improve and transform processes and relationships across several different and expanding business models, and display strong leadership both within finance and across the broader organization. This role will report to the head of Operations and Customer Service Finance at Chewy.
What You’ll Do:
- Partnering with Corporate FP&A and Operations and Customer Service Long Term Planning teams, drive the financial planning, forecasting, and actual results reporting calendar, cadence, and processes for the organization.
- Create mechanisms to inspect budgets, forecasts, and actual results to drive improved accuracy and attainment to financial plans.
- Drive standard reporting across the Operations and Customer Service Finance organization to ensure that the teams are consistently communicating to business partners and stakeholders including the COO.
- Collaborate with Corporate teams including Real Estate and Procurement, Logistics, and Supply Chain to budget, forecast, and report G&A costs and headcount.
- Assist with ad hoc projects as required by the leadership teams
- Extract and analyze data from central databases using Hyperion, SQL and Tableau
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
- 5+ years relevant finance experience with a strong understanding of GAAP and financial statements
- Direct experience with developing and leading budgeting and forecasting processes
- Strong PowerPoint and data visualization skills (Excel/PowerPoint dashboards, Tableau, etc.)
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with a methodical, data-driven approach
- Experience with financial modeling using advanced Excel functions (i.e. VLOOKUP/Index Match, SUMIFS, pivot tables, etc.)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, as your key contacts will be the senior leadership team (CEO, CFO, VP Finance, Sr Directors)
- Ability to work under pressure and to deal with rapidly changing operating conditions, while still delivering to expectations
- Ability to self-start and self-direct work in an unstructured environment
- Proactive with solving problems and innovative in finding solutions

- Familiarity with an e-commerce or retail business models
- Experience with Hyperion SmartView, Tableau, Oracle ERP, SQL
Compensation & Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $91,000-$176,000. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant.

Non-exempt hourly team members accrue paid time off (PTO) while salaried-exempt team members have unlimited PTO, subject to manager approval. Non-exempt hourly team members in Fulfillment Centers and Customer Service are also eligible for additional unplanned unpaid time off (UTO). Team members will receive six paid holidays per year. Team members may be eligible for paid sick and family leave in compliance with applicable state and local regulations.
