HealthCare Support is now interviewing for a Financial Analyst Accountant with a top-performing acute care hospital in Palatka, FL!

Daily Responsibilities for this Financial Analyst Accountant:

• Under the general direction of the Controller, maintains financial reports, statistics, and records
• Supports Controller with all major financial projects during the year
• Responsible for fixed asset accounting, maintenance, and reporting
• Strong attention to detail, a solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles
• Handles accounts payables, and processing check requests
• Assists with preparation of all reports required to submit Annual, Semi-annual, and quarterly reports to include, but not limited to External Audits, Medicare Cost Report, AHCA Report, etc.

Minimum Requirements for this Financial Analyst Accountant role (MUST HAVE):

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting or related field
• 2+ years of Accounting experience
• Intermediate to Advanced skill level in use of Excel, PPT and other MS programs
• Ability to analyze and solve problems
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills as evidenced by employment history
• Strong understanding of GAAP
• Prior healthcare experience preferred

• Monday – Friday
