Financial Analyst

Key Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years experience in finance, accounting or similar field

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or similar field

• Ability to quickly develop an understanding of the current environment (including systems, policies, processes, and procedures) within the organization, such that decisions will be rooted in a strong foundation

• Substantial understanding of the accounts receivable function is required, with an ability to apply knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks

• Mature, responsible, driven and able to work independently with minimal direct supervision

• Proven ability to engage and communicate effectively across the organization

• Experience with SAP preferred

• Proven ability to deliver high quality and detailed work within deadlines

Description

The individual will:

• perform consumer receivables AR closing activities, GL reconciliations, and ad hoc analysis requests.

• be responsible to execute day to day consumer payments and balance sheet reconciliations and related activities

• provide timely and accurate analysis and reporting to track key performance metrics and communicate actionable business insights to management and business partners

• coordinate with non-Finance groups to analyze root cause of individual transaction exceptions and provide solutions to upstream processes to prevent future issues

• assist in the streamlining, automation and development of scalable processes and systems

• understand SOX controls as they relate to the job responsibilities and perform all tasks in a SOX compliant manner to limit financial risk to ***

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $37.00 - $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Experience:

• Accounting: 4 years (Preferred)
• Accounts receivable: 4 years (Preferred)
