EOC is seeking a Financial Analyst within the USA FP&A team. Being the only analytics team in the company, we are regularly asked to solve many questions stretching within all departments of the business. This role will also be responsible for improving the company’s financial status by building financial models, analyzing, and interpreting data and results, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and supporting our financial planning process. The perfect candidate for this role will have a high level of independence, accountability, teamwork, good judgment, and attention to detail.


Essential Job Duties

  • Collaborate with Sales Managers and above to provide strategic guidance and sound business decisions through proper financial analysis, collaboration, and critical thinking.
  • Drive departmental operating forecasting, ensuring all department forecasts are accurate and communicated to department leadership.
  • Prepare material to be presented to Executive Leadership and Board Members including the annual operating budget, quarterly forecasts, and monthly business reviews.
  • Identify and drive data process improvements and create standard and ad hoc reports and dashboards (NetSuite and Tableau) to support corporate decision-making.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the business, communicating effectively to ensure key stakeholders are informed and aligned on financial goals and results.
  • Fulfill and manage ad hoc requests including complex analysis as requested by the organization and projects requiring cross-functional coordination.
  • Contribute to work life harmony by being a positive, collaborative, and effective influencer to the organization.


Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Mathematics, and Computer Science) or equivalent.
  • 2 – 5 years of experience of Financial Analysis
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy of numbers
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and achieve defined deadlines
  • High proficiency with Excel
  • Perform value-add financial analysis (routine and ad-hoc)
  • Support/review monthly accounting close processes
  • Support development of business strategy
  • Partner effectively with other leaders within organization
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written


Preferred
Qualifications

  • Experience working within the outdoor industry.
  • MBA and/or Professional certifications (CPA/CFA/Qualified Accounting certificate).
  • Demonstrable leadership skills and experience in a business partnering role.

  • Ability to sit in front of computer for long periods of time
  • May be required to lift 5-30 pounds occasionally


Salary


This is a SALARY position with Elevate Outdoor Collective. The pay range for this role is $80,000 - $90,000 annually.
