Responsible for administering the Medicaid Presumptive Eligibility, Medical disability, long term care applications and Hospital Financial Assistance Programs. Act as a liaison between the patients, physician, patient clinics, accounts, and community agencies. Responsible for performing financial screenings on patients and making a determination based on provided information; therefore directing the patient to the appropriate financial program. Also, responsible for counseling patients regarding their financial obligation and collection of monies owed for medical services. Administering and counseling insured and non-insured patients on payment plans and/or package pricing, and writing off or adjusting all accounts as deemed necessary. Interacts with executives and other leadership on approval of payment plans or settlements. Works closely with the Patient Representatives in researching and handling patient complaints related to billing. What You Bring/Job Requirements:

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
- Preferred 1 year health care experience
- Preferred knowledge of registration and billing and credit scoring.
- Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding and medical terminology
- Strong customer service skills.
- Accurate computer typing skills
- High School Diploma or GED, required
