An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Underwriter to join our sucessful Regional Financial Lines team at Allianz, based in our South Region - this position will be based from our Maidstone office.
The role will include analysing claims data, sending out renewal terms, answering day to day queries from Brokers, ensuring that renewal terms are sent out in accordance with our compliance rules and regulations, developing broker relationships including regular broker visits and collaborating with your colleagues in other departments to support our ambitious growth plans.
As a part of our successful team you will be expected to:
- Provide excellent service to our Customers
- Collaborate and build a successful relationship with the Regional and wider UK Financial Lines Team.
- Providing support to the Financial Lines Underwriters covering brokers based in our London, Chelmsford, Maidstone and Southampton branch network.
- Build successful broker relationships
- Achieve agreed financial performance targets
- Collaborate strongly with other departments to achieve the Company's goals in respect of service delivery
- Process renewals and mid-term adjustments
- Send out documents to Brokers ensuring that we adhere to compliance and regulation

This role will involve working from home combined with time in our Maidstone office. This is a Hybrid role where you will have the flexibility to work from home and the office – please expect to be in the office/visiting brokers circa 3 days a week, with circa 2 days from home.
Skills & Experience
- Experience of Financial Lines underwriting
- The ability to build, develop and maintain broker relationships
- Strong communication & negotiation skills
- A positive "can do" attitude
