Job Requirements

Role Purpose
The Financial Reporting Analyst is responsible to support the accounting activities of the company and its entities. This person will be responsible, but not limited to, preparing USGAAP and Statutory financial statements and compiling, preparing, analyzing, and reviewing financial data, and assisting with technical and analytical accounting matters.

Work Experience

Key Responsabilities

• Works along with the Controller for the accurate and timely completion of financial statement reports including, but not limited to, internal and external monthly financial statements and annual audits and budgets
• Perform quarterly tax provisions and manage the coordination of the annual tax returns and informative returns preparation with external CPA firms for timely delivery
• Review, implement, and maintain adequate and effective internal controls, such as reviewing balance sheet account reconciliations
• Review, implement, and maintain adequate and effective processes to improve the close and reporting cycles to ensure timely and accurate reporting
• Responsible for ensuring compliance with company internal policies, as well as various statutory requirements, and all applicable laws, rules, and regulations affecting financial reporting and taxation
• Analyze and prepare to completion all regional and home office reporting
• Prepare analysis on a day to day basis for various stakeholders, upon request
• Perform and assist on “ad hoc” projects and other related duties as assigned
• Depending on the function or project, this person will report certain topics directly to the CFO

Knowledge

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration (Finance or Accounting)
• CPA Licensed, desirable
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to perform according to agreed plans with minimal supervision
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point) and working knowledge of common application
• Advance knowledge of the structure and content of the English and Spanish Language
• Excellent communication skills with ability to express ideas clearly and objectively, orally and in writing
