Founded in 1984, Firetrol is the national leader in fire protection & life safety services. We are currently seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Service Technician to join our team of the best fire protection professionals in the industry. This position is based in our Schertz, TX office.

Job Description :

Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair fire all types of fire alarm systems that require servicing.

Provide detailed reports and recommended corrective actions to the customer.

Work includes climbing ladders, climbing stairs, lifting at least 50lbs, walking long distances to reach all areas of buildings where work must be performed.

Regular face-to-face interaction with customers and tenants in locations like hospitals, nursing homes, K-12 education, colleges, restaurants, military installations, government buildings, commercial buildings and multi-family residential properties.

Minimum Qualifications and Skills :

• At least five (5) years’ experience in the field installation, inspection, programming or servicing of fire alarm and detection systems.
• Proven record of providing excellent customer service and care.
• Excellent verbal communication skills required to work with customers, technicians, sales personnel, and managers.
• Ability to work independently, as well as with other team members.
• Valid Texas State Fire Marshal FAL License
• Valid Driver’s License
• Pass Drug and Background screening, including motor vehicle records.
