Shipyard Staffing has an upcoming opening for a General Laborer / Fire Watch, for our client in
Bremerton, WA.

Job Duties:
- Assist welders in performing hot work.
- Assisting all trades in the set and tear down of various projects' shipboard.
- General shipyard labor.
- Moving equipment and supplies to multiple locations on the ship.
- Policing area for flammable/combustible material and keeping it safely away from hot work.
- Cleaning area during cooldown and at end of shift.
- Staying alert and aware of hazardous situations or fires that may occur during the course of homework.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Must pass background and drug screen.
- 1 year of shipyard experience.
- Maritime OSHA 10 (if you don’t have it, we will provide the class at no cost).
- Firewatch certification (if you don’t have it, we will provide the class at no cost).
- Respirator fit certification.
- MUST BE DBIDS ELIGIBLE.
- MUST BE LOCAL TO THE AREA.
