The Extracare Charitable Trust are recruiting for an experienced part-time Fitness Instructor to join our friendly and supportive team at Lark Hill Retirement Village, based in Nottingham, NG11 8BF.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Fitness Instructor to join our friendly team at our Lark Hill Retirement Village and support the Village’s commitment in delivering ExtraCare’s mission of “better lives for older people”.

Role Details:
- Role: Fitness Instructor
- Hours: 16 hours per week - flexible
- Rate: £10.42 per hour (£8,692 pa, pro rata of FTE)
- Location: Lark Hill Retirement Village, Nottingham, NG11 8BF
- Contract: Permanent - Part-Time
What will you do as our Fitness Instructor?
- Provide residents with fitness assessments, consultations, introduction sessions & inductions.
- Promote Health & Fitness throughout the Village
- Maintain good contacts with local health services
- Ensure members of staff are trained and available to guide, supervise and update members.
- Be responsible for the supervision and safety of all members
Our ideal Fitness Instructor:
- Will possess a QCF Diploma Level 2 or equivalent in fitness and relevant experience working in a similar role.
- The ideal candidate will bring motivation and promote a healthy lifestyle to our residents.
