Job description
WPS, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a Fleet Assistant in our Green Bay, Wisconsin location.
The starting wage for this position is $25.38.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform basic periodic maintenance on a variety of vehicles and work equipment
- Perform Government Mandated inspections on a variety of vehicles and equipment
- Complete required documentation and enter all maintenance data in a computerized Maintenance Management system
- Coordinate downtime, repairs and return to service with appropriate leadership
- Change and repair tires
- Procure parts from outside vendors to facilitate timely equipment repairs
- Pick up and deliver vehicles as directed
Minimum Education Required
Minimum Qualifications
- 1 year of relevant work experience or certification of vehicle mechanic course work.
- Basic PC skills required.
- Valid Drivers License
- Must be able to obtain CDL - A within 6 months.
