Job Summary

The Fleet Coordinator is responsible for completing reports and assignments delegated by the Fleet Manager. This individual will also assist with various projects, as they arise.

Compensation

Responsibilities

  • Tracking of ARPA DOT inspections, NRMCA reporting, and federal/annual reporting
  • Expense logging and tire placements onto a spreadsheet
  • Inventory control of cameras, and tablets
  • Schedule safety meetings and verify safety audit items are completed
  • Responsible for the scheduling of Quarterly Drum Chipping and ensuring adequate supplies are available
  • Work with the Requisitioner on PM services and with the Parts Coordinator on Cores and returns
  • Verifying and ensuring engine diagnostic programs are up to date
  • Complete fuel study on mixers (every three years)
  • Physical requirements: Lifting of up to 75 lbs., use of hand and power tools, climbing, bending, squatting, lifting, stretching, driving, riding, twisting, pushing/pulling of controls, and riding on rough terrain; possible exposure to extremes of hot and cold weather

Education

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Bachelors degree preferred

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Must have a valid drivers license
  • Must be able to work cooperatively with others
  • Computer skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Ability to work varying shifts including overtime, nights, and weekends
  • A safety-first work mentality is a must
  • Must have your own reliable transportation to work

Preferred:

  • Prior experience servicing ready-mix trucks and heavy equipment
  • Commercial driver's license
  • Heavy equipment experience

Conditions of Employment

Successful candidate must submit to a post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. Some positions require Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) registration/clearance as well as ongoing alcohol and drug testing.
