The purpose of the Fleet & Equipment Coordinator is to implement, maintain, and follow policies & procedures related to company owned equipment, tools, vehicles, & trucks. This also includes the coordination and scheduling of all deliveries by our company drivers. In addition, this position will handle purchasing & inventory of those items as well as oversight of servicing and repairing the tools, equipment, and vehicles along with those stocked items associated with maintaining those assets in good working conditions. All asset items records are to be kept up to date and accurate in Sage (company accounting software).

Responsibilities:

• Coordination, scheduling, & job costing of all company owned equipment & minimize renting of equipment that the company owns (Dingo’s, Mini-Ex’s, Skid Steers / Bobcats, etc.)
• Coordination and scheduling of the deliveries associated with the company drivers (equipment, trash, materials, etc.) along with proper job costing.
• Coordination & scheduling of all rented equipment by outside vendors along with proper job costing
• Coordinate all tools, equipment, & vehicle purchases as required. This will be monthly for small tools and equipment and less frequent for large equipment and vehicles.
• Maintain records (purchases, usage, service, & repair) for all tools, equipment, & vehicles in Sage
• Order and maintain inventory of supplies as needed for tools & equipment usage / maintenance
• Handle all equipment and vehicle license & registration (DMV) requirements.
• Review daily GPS usage of all trucks & equip. for compliance to company guidelines / safety policies
• Review monthly fuel reports / charges to ensure consistency (fuel grade & price) among the fleet.
