Job Description:

Bucholz Army Airfield Repair is a design-bid-build renovation project with phasing to accommodate a fully active runway throughout the entire duration of renovation. Airfield repairs will be completed in one single phase, and airfield operations will continue to function during repairs. Parsons will replace various components of the airfield, including the major runways, taxiways, and parking aprons. Additional work includes installing potable and non-potable water line systems, lined water catchment and drainage systems, airfield pavement markings, runway and taxiway lighting systems, electric vault, and an airfield electrical distribution system along with upgrading airfield navigation aids for flight operations. The Fleet Manager must be willing to go to Bucholz Army Airfield on a Long-Term Status.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Managing cradle-to-grave administrative of Fleet inventory oversight and procedures, including owned and leased vehicles
  • Facilitating the assignment and transfer of all project fleet vehicles
  • Approving all rental, lease, and vehicle alteration requests
  • Ensuring that all vehicles and equipment are appropriately funded for accurate invoicing
  • Providing direction and guidance on DOT-regulated vehicle operations to include, annual license and registration renewals, endorsement verification, federally mandated training, equipment/vehicle inspections, and recordkeeping
  • Monitoring and advising Project Managers regarding lifecycle and repair determinations for Fleet Vehicle
  • Managing the lifecycle of the vehicles from acquisition to disposal; and providing analytics and analysis to assist in making informed decisions related to fleet transactions.
  • Overseeing the comprehensive maintenance program to guide and facilitate safe, economical fleet operations

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • 5+ years’ experience involving Fleet Management Duties and/or logistics experience.
  • High School diploma required
  • Must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident

Salary Range:

$79,100.00 - $138,400.00
