Our East District is looking for a Heavy Equipment Fleet Mechanic. This position is critical to our success as you will use your advanced mechanical skills and knowledge to repair and service our construction & landscaping equipment at Reno, Elk Grove, and Placerville locations.
This is a non-exempt (hourly) full-time position. Shifts are Monday-Friday and regularly end by 5:00pm. Includes frequent travel with company vehicle.

Job Duties
- Prioritizing and facilitating repairs for three branch locations
- Driving to multiple locations and job sites in the surrounding areas
- Servicing equipment or vehicles and completing quality control inspections
- Ordering parts
- Maintaining vendor and customer relationships
- Keeping safety top priority always
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Partnership with branch Mechanics to prioritize and facilitate repairs
- Attending and assisting with training as applicable
- Maintaining fleet vehicle to company standards
- Keeping safety top priority
- Maintaining vendor and customer relationships
- Any tasks, processes, and procedures delegated by supervisor
- Maintain professional appearance as a representative of All Star Rents
Bootcamp training- 90-day hands on training program includes everything you need to know about service our equipment and customers the All Star Rents way.
Requirements:- 18 years or older
- Valid CA driver’s license with satisfactory record – Class A license a plus!
- Valid proof of eligibility to work in the US
- Be able to lift 50lbs unaided
- Minimum 3 years of mechanical experience required- servicing equipment or vehicles and completing inspection and repairs.
- Advance Tool Set- necessary to complete repairs.
- Computer Literacy- Typing and understanding computers/technology and basic software
- Some mechanical aptitude and knowledge of construction equipment- Certifications a plus!
- Professional communication skills in English both written and verbal- Bilingual a plus!
- A serious attitude towards safety in the workplace
