As a Fleet Mechanic, you can expect to:
- Perform operational and functional inspections, repairs and maintenance on fleet vehicles and equipment.
- Operate automotive, construction and material handling equipment, hydraulic systems, ariel platform inspection and repair.
- A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
- Work under general supervision and is a self-starter.
- The list of duties does not include ALL duties that may be assigned to this position.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- At least 3 years of diesel related experience.
- High school diploma or its equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
- Customer focused, strong work ethic and positive.
- Be a safety oriented individual.
- CDL B license is required but can be obtained after employment begins and training and reimbursement for it will be provided.
- Candidates must provide truck technician hand tools.
