Elaine's is hiring for Restaurant Manager position.

Job Summary

The Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of the restaurant, including the selection, development and management of all employees. In addition, they oversee the inventory and ordering of food and supplies, profit optimization and ensure that guests are satisfied with their dining experience. The restaurant manager will also oversee marketing strategies, recruiting and hiring restaurant staff, training, overseeing food quality, and all events.

Key responsibilities and duties:

• Recruiting, hiring and training all restaurant staff, including servers and hosts
• Scheduling employees to ensure shifts have proper coverage
• Streamlining the restaurant processes to improve the guest experience
• Monitoring restaurant finances, including sales and expenses
• Enforcing food handling regulations and other guidelines to increase guest safety
• Oversees marketing for the restaurant
• Handling customer complaints
• Completing necessary administrative tasks, such as sales, inventory and staff attendance reports or any other reports required by the owner

Qualifications and Skills:

• Strong knowledge of FOH operations including operations, staff supervision, and food safety guidelines.
• Strong understanding of cost and labor systems that lead to restaurant profitability
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Comfort working with budgets, payroll, revenue, and forecasting
• Ability to lead large groups of people
• 2+ years of experience in a restaurant general management role

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
