Job description
Beth Haven Retirement Community are looking for evening Food/Beverage servers to assist in caring for our residents. This can be a part-time or full-time position that will assist the cook in serving plates and drinks to the residents. This could be a great part-time position for students or people who are retired looking for a part-time job. It is not labor intensive and you go home each night knowing that talking with residents and helping them made a difference.
The hours are part-time 3:30pm to 6:30pm a couple of days a week.
POSITIONS AVAILABLE:

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Complete all tasks necessary to provide a high quality and personalized dining experience
- Work with a pleasant attitude, a smiling face, and greet residents by name
- Deliver meals, beverages, and dessert service in a timely and efficient manner
- Prepare and brew coffee and fill cream and water pitchers ahead of meal service
- Assist with portion prep and pre-plating as requested and required to streamline service
- Complete tasks and duties necessary to maintain a clean, organized Dining Room
- Carefully sort soiled dishes and flatware into trays as required to support dishwashing colleague
- Clear, clean, and reset tables after each meal service
- Clean and fill condiment trays, salt and pepper shakers, and ensure all flatware is without spots
- Conduct periodic and systematic deep cleaning of tables, chairs, and Dining Room surfaces
- Assist with other duties and assignments as needed to support Kitchen staff
REQUIRMENTS:
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
- Willingness to learn, open to new ideas, flexible with scheduling
- Desire to be a team player; self-motivated
