A new confectionary company is looking for a skilled Food Production Manager to lead our team. If you have experience in a food production facility, especially as it relates to confectionary products, this is an opportunity you'll want to hear more about!

Job Responsibilities & Expectations

• Execute production from start to finish, minimizing waste and adhering to output quality and quantity standards per the company SOPs
• Calculate, weigh, and scale recipes, as well as calculating and submitting inventory, production events, and waste events
• Operate and maintain food production equipment with care and caution
• Maintain and utilize knowledge of techniques and equipment used to prepare food products
• Set up, operate, and tend equipment that cooks, mixes, blends, processes and packages ready-to-eat confectionary products in the manufacturing of food products, according to formulas or recipes
• Ensure all products meets established standards for output quality and quantity
• Maintain a quick and efficient workflow while minimizing waste at every level of production
• Follow recipes to produce food products of specified flavor, texture, clarity, bouquet, or color, by selecting, measuring or weighing ingredients
• Use established tools and resources to identify and report any products that do not meet company standards
• Perform all assigned daily, weekly, and monthly tasks at a high level to maintain an organized, productive and clean work environment
• Keep the production space organized, clean and maintained utilizing daily checklists and monthly deep clean checklists

Job Skills & Position Requirements

• Required: 3+ years of food service or food production management experience
• Required: Thorough Understanding of Food Safety
• Required: Organizational and Effective Communication Skills
• Required: Ability to work effectively, efficiently, and independently
• Required: Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Preferred: ServSafe Certification (Required within 6 Months)
• Critical Thinking- Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
• Service Orientated- Actively looking for ways to help the team.
• Judgment - Able to show a proven track record for making good judgment calls in times of high pressure.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
