Sunrise Bistro seeks fun and energetic individuals willing to grow in a professional, fast-paced, team-oriented environment. We are now hiring full-time and part-time Food Runners who must provide exceptional customer service, be knowledgeable about menu offerings and interact with their customers professionally and pleasantly. Food servers will take guests’ food orders and serves the meal, usually working as a team and following the guidance of a manager.

Job Responsibilities

• Mainly responsible for correctly and promptly delivering orders to a customer's table.
• Check that kitchen orders are correct and delivered to the right table.
• A food runner's primary responsibility is to assist servers.
• Communicating messages between the kitchen staff and the wait staff
• Communicating food orders to the kitchen
• Works directly with FOH staff to promptly fulfill all of the guest’s needs.
• Answering customers' questions about menu items, allergens, and related factors
• Occasionally refilling customers' drinks, supplying booster seats, kids' menus, plastic cups, or related items for customers with children
• Assists the servers in pre-bussing plates and dishware as the guests have finished eating.
• Proper food handling and sanitation of work areas, including ensuring cleanliness upon departing from restrooms.
• Communicate with FOH staff and management to keep one another informed and wears a headset.
• Participate in ongoing training and development.
