FOOTBALL RECRUITING COORDINATOR

Primary Responsibilities

• 
  Oversees all aspects related to the recruitment of prospective student-athletes to Southeast Missouri State University football program as directed by the Head Coach
• Organizes the scheduling and logistics of all official and unofficial visits of prospective student-athletes
• Maintains recruiting software
• Manages all on-campus recruiting activities
• Facilitates communication and correspondence plans for prospective student-athletes
• Promotes Southeast Missouri State University and the athletics program through community involvement

• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience at the collegiate level as either a football coach, player or support staff member
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to work successfully with students, faculty, community and media
• Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to NCAA regulations
• Demonstrated ability to recruit qualified student-athletes
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to travel extensively with or without accommodations and work alternate work schedules including evenings and weekends
• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain professional relationships within and external to the organization
• Demonstrated experience and understanding of customer service
• Demonstrated commitment to a diverse work environment, including working with multicultural populations and an understanding of, and sensitivity to, issues affecting women and minorities
