Shift schedule: Monday-Friday 12:00pm - 8:00pm with some weekends expected.

Position Overview

The Material Handler I is a member of a team that maintains warehouse stock that is received, inventoried, and distributed as instructed.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to stage ingredients and packaging for the day’s production run.
• Count and weigh ingredients and packaging. Record the counts and return to rack at the end of shift.
• Ability to accurately perform a cycle count (non-SAP) ensuring accuracy in the inventory.
• Ensure finished good inventory is counted, wrapped and put into holding freezer.
• Must be able to be certified in the operation of a pallet jack.
• Maintain clean and orderly work environment.
• Perform a safety inspection of equipment at the beginning of each shift.
• Inspect trailer interior for cleanliness and contamination prior to unloading and loading product. Inspect often during the shift.
• Complete non-SAP paperwork
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Experience and knowledge in MS Office products (Excel &n Word) and SAP preferred
• Forklift and palate jack certification preferred
• Strong mathematical skills
• Must be able to lift or move up to 75 lbs.

Education and/ Or Experience

• High School diploma or GED diploma required
