As a Forklift Operator/Material Handler with Liberty Packaging Fort Worth, you will be responsible for a combination of product handling duties including stacking and transporting of raw materials and finished goods.

This full-time Forklift Operator/Material Handler position reports directly to the Shipping/Receiving Manager and is located at Liberty Packaging’s manufacturing plant in Dallas, Texas.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Complete and document a forklift inspection form before the start of shift and when operating a new forklift
• Inform supervisor with information of needed repairs based on daily inspection
• Locate raw materials using production tickets
• Deliver appropriate stock to machines safely and on time
• Remove finished goods from machines
• Unload and load tractor trailers as needed for workflow
• Maintain neat, orderly, and safe stacks of stock in storage areas
• Complete necessary paperwork in an accurate and timely manner
• Maintain accurate location of stock in the storage area
• Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping
• Additional duties may be assigned by management

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS:

• Forklift Operator Certification
• At least two years of previous experience in an industrial / manufacturing environment operating a forklift
• Have the ability to complete basic math skills and computer knowledge
