If you're interested in assisting in administering the Bank’s compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act, as well as analyzing fraud prevention data, identifying potentially fraudulent situations, and proceeding with the appropriate action to protect the Bank from a financial loss, our Fraud Prevention Analyst II role may be for you! Responsibilities:

  • Identify suspicious and/or potentially fraudulent activity as a result of alerts generated by the Bank’s automated BSA/AML and fraud monitoring software.
  • Conduct customer and account level research on a wide variety of data in an effort to identify suspicious and/or illegal activity, including potential fraud, maintain documentation supporting the results of such research, and report findings and/or make recommendations to department leadership based on that research.
  • Produce clear and complete written reports in accordance with established deadlines, work with software applications and other research tools, and perform research and analysis on a daily basis. Utilize a variety of analytical techniques and computer systems to make informed decisions concerning customer account status.
  • Communicate effectively with branch staff to obtain information needed for supporting documentation, reports, and risk mitigation.
  • Evaluate information and sources for accuracy, reliability, and relevance in assessing existing and potential customers for BSA/AML and fraud risk.
  • Coordinate work with other team members performing similar activities.
  • Create and maintain Fraud and BSA investigations with proper documentation and adhering to set timelines for case creation and filing.
  • Effectively and with dependable writing skills, assist with drafting regulatory reports required under the BSA for supervisor review.

Who You Are

  • Minimum 3 years’ Banking experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 2 years’ Fraud Prevention experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to experience and performance.
