General Summary
The Cashier is responsible for register transactions involving the sale and/or return of merchandise.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Customer Service

• Project a positive representation.
• Freight crew is responible for stocking frieght on shelves, etc.
• Project a friendly, outgoing demeanor; work well with associates.
• Communicate any problem or issue that requires management assistance.
• Continually build product knowledge base and kmow store layout and product location.
• Assist in pricing, stocking, marking.
• Participate in store meetings.
• Assist with keeping impulse counters stocked and faced, rotate fresh merchandise in as seasons change.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Other Essential Requirements
Education/Training

High School or GED equivalent.

Experience

Cashier experience preferred. Customer service experience preferred.

Physical Demands

Standing, walking, lifting (up to 100 lbs) and climbing.

Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs, bend, reach, walk, Stand for up to 8 eight per day.
