What You Will Be Doing
Conduct outbound phone calls to potential customers using warm leads provided
Visit current clients/potential clients evaluate needs or promote digital freight forwarding sales & services
Assist in the field and in the office as needed
Answer client questions regarding credit terms, products, prices, and availability
Receive hands-on training, utilize guided scripts to gain interest of business owners and effectively close
Maintain client records

What You Need for this Position
Bachelors Degree preferred but not required
At least 2 years of relevant experience with Freight Forwarding (FCL, LCL) SALES (Not operations, not warehousing or trucking sales, not pricing or other departments)
Strong desire for customer meertings and closing deals selling freight forwarding services
Experience assisting to trade shows and selling freight forwarding services
Solid skill level with Salesforce and MS Excel
Excellent sales aptitude with a closing mentality
Strong work ethic and communication skills
Outgoing and competitive personality and coach-able attitude
Ability to develop relationships with carriers, co-loaders and agents
Prospect must speak English. Spanish knowledge is a plus.
