The Front of House Director for Chick-fil-A at Ramsey is responsible for all operational activities associated with the front of the restaurant, including order taking and fulfillment, drive-thru operations, hospitality and team member development. The FOH Director is prepared to execute daily operations with a high degree of excellence, across the above mentioned of operational activities. This position supports the position of Owner/Operator. This role sets the standard for “Operational Excellence” and leads by example while mentoring and developing the team members.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Deliver a remarkable dining experience for all guests
  • Development of Team Leaders and Team Member behaviors
  • Maintains and develops a sense of urgency that creates a surprisingly fast service
  • Execution of systems that ensure a refreshingly clean environment
  • Maintains work environment that ensures and promotes food safety
  • Vigilant attention to the organization and appearance of the Front of House
  • Cash management operations
  • Deliver weekly FOH or BOH performance reports to Leadership Team
  • Coaches, evaluates, and holds accountable Front of House Team Members
  • Responsible for Opening and Closing of Restaurant
  • Lead shift of 10-20 Team Members at a time
  • Able to fulfill catering orders totaling over $250
  • Ownership of 1 or 2 specific area of the restaurant (ex: Catering Fulfillment, Mobile Ordering Platform, Customer Experience Surveys)
  • Able to fulfill operational needs in the restaurant at a high level


The Back of House (BOH) Director for Chick-fil-A at Ramsey is responsible for all operational activities associated with the kitchen areas of the restaurant. The BOH Director is prepared to execute daily excellence across a full spectrum of operational activities at the strategic, operational and tactical level. The BOH Director remains in close daily contact with the Director of Operations. Four main areas of focus that fall under the leadership of the BOH Director: Food Safety, Quality Requirements, Cleanliness and Profitability. The BOH Director sets the standard for “Operational Excellence” and leads by example while mentoring and developing the entire Kitchen Team.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Deliver crave-able food in a timely manner
  • Meet Chick-fil-A quality requirements
  • Maintain and develop a sense of urgency that creates surprisingly fast service
  • Attention to detail ensuring preparation and production procedures are followed
  • Product Management through online ordering platforms and transfer logs
  • Deliver weekly Kitchen performance reports to Leadership Team
  • Opens and Closes the restaurant
  • Coaches, evaluates, and holds accountable Kitchen Leadership and Kitchen Team Members
  • Creates development plans for leaders and new team members
  • Responsible for quarterly plans of action focusing on Food Safety, Food Quality and Financial Return
  • Partner with Director of Talent to interview prospective Team Members and leaders to fill vacant positions
  • Delivers staffing needs and quarterly talent report to the Director of Talent
  • Actively and intently creates a clean and organized kitchen area
  • Maintain an adequate, yet LEAN inventory management system
  • Maintain proper labor investment through the scheduling of Team Members
  • Inputs monthly inventory counts
  • Oversees Daily reporting logs to ensure food safety and food quality measure are achieved daily
  • Oversees the completion of daily/weekly checklists

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 Year Higher Education Degree or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of leadership experience (we will have 20-30 people working at any given time)
  • 45-50 Hours a week availability, Saturday availability
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Available to work 2 evenings per week and 3 Saturdays a month
  • Must have excellent computer skills

Desired Qualifications:

  • 4 Year Higher Education Degree
  • ServSafe Certified
  • 4 years, or more, experience within the restaurant industry
  • Experience in both Front of House and Back of House operations of a restaurant
  • Experience working in a Chick-fil-A restaurant
