Bainbridge Automotive Repair has an opening for a Front Desk Associate / Shop Helper to assist customers, technicians, and keep the building tidy.

M-F 7:30 AM - 5 PM, some Saturdays 8 AM - 12 PM
Essential Functions

• Greeting customers and asking them to explain the vehicle issue
• Writing up customer information
• Communicating customer information to a technician
• Inputting customer and vehicle information into a customer relationship management system and service database
• Writing and tracking service work
• Creating automotive work estimates
• Responding to customer questions and communications during the service process
• Maintain accurate records of interactions with customers and recurring user problems
• Scheduling appointments and managing calendars
• Running errands as requested
• Responding to all customer inquiries in a polite and timely manner
• Processing bills and helping clients or customers if they have any questions about their charges
• Keeping the front desk area organized
• Keeping the shop clean, including but not limited to sweeping the floor, cleaning workspaces and tables, cleaning the microwave and refrigerator when it is dirty, cleaning the restroom, taking out trash to the dumpster

Job Specifications
This job position requires the following:

• Ability to lift up to 50 Ibs
• Moderate physical activity
• Ability to work without air conditioning / heat, fan or space heater may be used
• Great communication abilities, including written and verbal communication
• Patience, empathy and professionalism
• Effective time management, prioritization and multitasking skills
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment
