Receptionist Monday-Friday 3p-11p
PURPOSE: To greet customers, vendors and residents in a welcoming and professional way.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform the job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Individual must be able to use or learn computerized switchboard and have the ability to prioritize multiple demands. Must be able to work well with others and must be able to maintain excellent attendance. Individual must be neat and clean in appearance at all times and maintain a professional attitude at all times.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The duties of a Receptionist will include the following but in no way does this description imply these are the only duties to be performed. You will be required to follow other instructions and to perform other duties upon the request of your supervisor that are essential to fulfill the purpose of the Receptionist.
· Wear proper uniform and name badge.
· Know and follow all facility policies and procedures.
· Attend all required in-services as scheduled and abide by them.
· Must respect the rights and dignity of the residents at all times.
· To provide clerical support to the facility as needed.
· Answer all in-coming calls in a quick, friendly, efficient manner and route calls appropriately or take complete messages.
· Greet and direct all visitors, family members, volunteers, vendors and appointments to appropriate areas in the facility.
· Perform general office duties that can include separating diet cards, sorting mail, logging files, light typing, copying, mailing out all correspondence and making name cards.
· Document all meal tickets sold and turn in money at end of shift.
· Maintain positive guest relations.
· Interact with residents and staff in a positive and professional manner.
· Interact in a positive and professional manner with non-workers (family members, doctors, vendors, etc…).

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch and walk for short distances. Must be able to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms.
The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
