The role of a front-end web developer would best be filled by a professional who can combine the art of design with the art of programming. It will be important to be able to translate UI/UX design wireframes to code that will produce visual elements of the application. Someone who takes initiative, enjoys finding solutions to challenges, is detail-oriented, and takes pride in their work will go far in this position.

You will work with the UI/UX designers and marketing team to bridge the gap between graphic design and technical implementation, take an active role on both sides in defining how the application looks and works. The role involves custom web development throughout the entire project lifecycle.

There is a need for a Web Developer that can improve processes, systems, and deliver excellent end products. The office environment is very entrepreneurial, and we’re seeking a new team member to grow with the company.

Responsibilities

• Work on multiple client projects for multiple teams
• Develop new user-facing features
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
• Develop and maintain Wordpress themes within best practices
• Ability to code a page as close to “pixel perfect” as possible
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
• Take ownership of projects and optimization
• Communicate clearly and openly with all team members
• Utilize creative problem solving to provide solutions and explanations for challenges
• Develop and build out responsive emails and email templates
• Manage project tasks, timelines, and communication
• Perform routine site maintenance as needed

Skills And Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant work experience as a front-end developer
• Advanced understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
• Proficient understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as SASS Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
• Proficient understanding of Wordpress theme development, database management, error handling, Custom Post Types, Advanced Custom Fields etc.
• Experience building custom designs with page builders like Elementor and Webflow
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
• Proficient knowledge of task runners like Gulp and Grunt
• Basic understanding of PHP, MySQL
• Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image.
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Good understanding of technical SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them
• Experience using third-party api for dynamic integrations
• Basic understanding of back-end services/servers and persistent storage
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks like React and Angular are a plus
• Backend knowledge of C#, .NET, MVC, WebAPI a plus

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
