Job Description: eTRANSERVICES is searching for a creative and highly motivated individual who can spearhead the design and development of functional, elegant, and easy-to-use WordPress websites. The selected candidate must be able to customize the existing WordPress templates or page builders using appropriate built-in customization tools, custom HTML and CSS, plugins and related tools.
The candidate must have appropriate experience and expertise in designing and developing exceptional WordPress websites. An ideal candidate will bring high attention to detail and best practices, a high degree of professionalism and integrity, be comfortable with working in a military environment that can have ambiguity at times and a demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team to accomplish project objectives.
The selected candidate will provide on-site support and expertise at the TRADOC Headquarters office in Ft. Eustis, VA, with the main focus on ensuring the functionality and efficiency of web infrastructure on TRADOC Public Affairs Office (PAO) websites. In this role, the selected individual must be able to work with minimum supervision while supporting the PAO stakeholders while delivering high-quality work products. In addition, the PAO Webmaster will support a larger TRADOC G6 Development team during their active Sprints in the capacity of a Full Stack developer to support a variety of applications.
Experience:
- 3 years of experience with WordPress
- 3 years of experience with website management
- Experience with Javascript
- Proficient in HTML/CSS
- Ability to post and edit content in WordPress
- Ability to take verbal and written instructions, translate them to requirements, and track to completion
- Must be detail oriented with good communication skills
- Experience with HTML and web design principles
- Ability to work with minimal guidance and on tight timelines.
Certification Required:
- Must have an IAT level II (CCNA, CySA, GICSP, GSEC, Sec+, CNS, and/or SSCP), or higher
Preferred Experience:
- Experience working with Azure DevOps
- Experience working in an Agile Development and/or JIRA environment
Education: Some college preferred
