We offer 8-, or 10-hour shifts, as well as per diem! Lowell CHC is open Monday-Friday 8am-5pm in primary care. Our Patient Walk In Clinic is also open Saturdays 8am-5pm.

Lowell Community Health Center is seeking MAs for our various departments. Our medical assistant team supports our diverse population with ranging acute needs. LCHC is known for our recognition of the needs and concerns of our patients within the various cultural frameworks of our community.

Some responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Greets and escorts patients to assigned room or area.

· Measures vital signs such as blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, oxygen saturation, height and weight and records information on patient chart.

· Assists with selected procedures, such as pap smears, ear irrigation, vision/hearing tests, simple dressing change, 12-lead EKG; specimen collection, including simple wave testing; and CPR.

· Performs supply inventory and stocks medical and patient forms.

· Effectively and openly communicates with the multi-disciplinary team, other health care professionals and agencies.

Licensure: Recent Medical Assisting certificate or Certified Nursing Aide certificate program is required

Certifications: Current BLS certification required
