- Greet patients in a professional manner
- Register patient and check insurance eligibility using the appropriate eligibility system
- Obtain appropriate co-payment for service
- Answer telephones promptly and courteously
- Transfer, conference and park calls as appropriate
- Route calls according to department protocol
- Access, understand and accurately make appointments using the scheduling screens within the appropriate system
- Oversee waiting area and ensure that all patients are checked in
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma, GED or 1 year of equivalent experience
- Previous experience in a medical office environment preferred
