Soleo Health is seeking Full-time Temporary to hire, Clearance Support Coordinators to work (in-office) at our Tempe, AZ branch. Join Us in Simplifying Complex Care!

This position is responsible for assisting CenterSource Clearance Specialists with expediting pending referrals and providing support to CenterSource Clearance staff.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Must have a solid working knowledge of insurance plans and benefit structures in order to obtain detailed benefit information and maximize plan benefits
  • Expedite medication referrals and facilitate collaboration among stakeholders
  • Verify and document insurance coverage of medications, run test claims, administration supplies, and related infusion services including prior authorization requirements and coordination of benefits
  • Contact referral source, patient, and/or doctors office to obtain additional information that is required to complete verification of benefits or prior approvals
  • Review clinical documents for prior authorization/pre-determination submission purposes
  • Initiate and secure prior authorization, pre-determination, or medical review
  • Collaborate with prescribers to complete or facilitate payor denial appeals
  • Provides exceptional customer service to external and internal customers, resolving any customer requests in a timely and accurate manner
  • Refer or assist with enrollment any patients who express financial necessity to manufacturer copay assistance programs and/or foundations
  • Generate new patient forms
  • Referral data entry and document management
  • Places outbound calls to patients or doctors offices to notify of any delays due to more information needed to process or due to a prior authorization
  • Ensures the appropriate notification of patients in regards to their financial responsibility, benefit coverage, and payor authorization for services to be provided

Schedule: Candidate must be able to work 40 hours a week between the hours of 8:30am and 5:00pm - Monday - Friday

Requirements:

  • Required to submit to a detailed background check, and if applicable, Motor Vehicle Report and drug screen
  • High School Diploma
  • Previous home infusion or specialty pharmacy clearance preferred
  • Must have Knowledge of Medical/Health insurance plans, Intake, Administrative duties and therapy requirements is preferred
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple priorities within a changing environment
  • Ability to effectively utilize multiple computer systems to complete duties
  • Experience collaborating with internal resources
  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel
  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Word
