Position: Gas Leak Survey Technician

Position Summary

The Leak Survey Technician position is an entry level position with potential to grow within Precision Pipeline Solutions, LLC. As a leak survey technician you will be detecting the presence of and evaluating the severity of natural gas leaks by walking the system or mobiling. Leaks found are documented and reported to our clients to be scheduled for repair. We perform various preventative maintenance tasks for our clients as well through corrosion and safety standards inspections. We provide on the job training and all necessary qualifications needed to perform the tasks at hand.

*Company vehicle and fuel card will be provided

Essential Job Functions:

  • Detecting and evaluating leaks on natural gas systems
  • Adhere to safety standards as defined by PPS's Safety Standards and Procedures
  • Polite, professional interactions with client and customers
  • Reading and understanding utility maps and schematics
  • Using computers and devices to record data

Position Qualifications:

  • Ability to read and interpret maps
  • Ability to act with integrity and respect of personal or public property
  • Ability to work in all types of weather
  • Ability to walk 3-5 miles per day
  • Must pass qualification tests that are provided

Additional Information

  • Valid Driver’s License required
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screening; federal regulations required testing for marijuana
