Join a company that's here to stay while learning and gaining experience in the field of Natural Gas. The purpose of this classification is to respond to requests for service from gas customers and to perform supervised maintenance work in support of natural gas distribution system operations.

• $15.50 / hour starting rate, but may be more based on experience
• 40 hours per week: Monday - Friday / 7am to 4pm + Overtime
• No previous education, training or certifications required*
• Must be able to work well in a team / crew environment without personal conflict
• Position will remain open until a qualified applicant is hired.
• 14 paid holidays and sick time begin accruing immediately

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• No previous experience required. High school diploma or GED required but may be supplemented by previous experience and/or training involving gas utility maintenance, gas utility installation/repair, gas leak detection, appliance installation, general maintenance work, equipment operation and customer service; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities for this job. Must possess and maintain a valid Alabama driver’s license. Must seek out a valid Apprentice Plumber/Gasfitter certification and Alabama P.S.C. Qualification of Joining Polyethylene certification within one year of service.
