Aerotek is looking for General Labor which pays $17 to $20 (Multiple Shifts)

Description:

Working in an aerospace manufacturing shop making parts for commercial aircraft, primarily Boeing. Various job duties, may be cross trained in multiple areas:

• Main job will be welding composite materials together by heat steaming them using a 2lb iron. Will weld them into a roll (kit)
• Sand or deburr parts using files, hand grinders, wire brushes, or power tools. Paint prep and sandblasting, trimming
• Wash work areas, machines, equipment, or parts (e.g., foil cleaning and tumble)
• Refill all supplies and tools as needed and at the end of every shift. Pack and store materials
• Quality check and examine products, mark identification on parts, and count finished products to determine if orders are complete

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

No experience in manufacturing or warehouse needed. Must have good attendance, be reliable, good work ethic and positive attitude.

• Jobs are all simple, repetitive, and monotonous. Can be strenuous on the hands
• Very light duty but will be working on feet all day. No lifting requirements for these roles, may occasionally lift up to 35lbs
• Must be flexible and willing to pivot to different departments, willing to be cross-trained in multiple areas, team-player
• Job may require minimal data entry and counting so mathematical skills and ability to do basic computer functions and type
