Manchester General Laborer

Grimco is a national wholesale sign supply manufacturer and distributor that has been around for over 145 years with 50+ locations in the United States, 8 in Canada, and recent expansion into the United Kingdom. We are looking for new employees with an interest in learning new skills, as well as the drive to work in a competitive and fast-moving environment. We are happy to train new team members who are starting with little to no experience in a manufacturing role, and there are constant opportunities for growth and advancement

Responsibilities:

• Assist and support the team with the manufacturing and reprocessing of plastic
• Clean and load plastic manufacturing equipment
• Operate reprocessing equipment
• Prepare work area for current and future jobs
• Housekeeping; gather, organize, and maintain a neat and clean work area. This includes constant cleaning of the work area and staging of paperwork and packaging items (i.e., Pallets, cores, labels, etc.)
• Maintain steady and optimum production levels by providing feedstocks and removing finished products
• Support team members in the setup and changing of manufacturing equipment for various job requirements
• Perform work in a safe manner

Job Requirements:

• Ability to lift 25-50 pounds. Capable of fulfilling physical requirements of all tasks.
• Adhere to company's rules and policies.

• Ability to learn new processes and skills
• Ability to read and understand paperwork and guidelines.
• Ability to work independently as well as with other team members
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Stand 100 % of the day
• Must demonstrate the physical ability to perform tasks in a safe and efficient manner.

SHIFT: Monday- Thursday (6:00pm-6:00am)

Immediate opening. Full-Time Employment Status.
