POSITION SUMMARY

JDog Junk Removal & Hauling is a veteran owned and operated company providing excellent junk removal and hauling services for all of Suffolk & Nassau County Long Island! Our Military work ethic is superior to the competition, always keeping in mind our values of respect, integrity, and trust.

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit individuals to join our growing company. Knowledgeable and comfortable in presenting our service to prospective customers. Energetic, well organized, creative problem solver who loves a challenging and outside fun environment. You will visit our customers' homes or businesses to take away their unwanted items.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

(Experience is preferred but willing to train the right person to JDog standards)

• Junk Removal: Lifting and removal of junk from business, residences, and government locations.
• Truck and Trailer operations: Safety, courteous, and situational awareness around all operation.
• Customer interface: Make the customer feel safe and comfortable through our motto of "Respect, Integrity, and Trust"
• Servitude to the community, willingness to help others
• Provide great customer service while hauling materials from homes and businesses.
• Follow directions from Truck Commander and work as a team
• Be able to inform and educate clients about what we represent, pricing and they should choose JDog!

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Ability to lift 75+ pounds
• Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS).
• People oriented - enjoys interacting with people and working on group projects.
• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc).
• Valid NYS driving license.
• Flexible - enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
